When building Cybersecurity teams it’s helpful to have someone knows what to build, and more importantly the how and why.
George Kurian is currently an SVP and Moody’s BISO overseeing Moody’s Investor Services and Shared Services Cybersecurity programs. He’s managed all aspects of the Cyber program at Moody’s including Architecture, Engineering, Operations and Data Analytics. George has worked in a variety of industries over the last 20+ years from finance with Citibank, UBS, and Moody’s, media & publishing with Random House , BMG, and Sony Music, ecommerce with Arvato, several security startups in Cable and Healthcare, Government & Non-profit with US Department of Energy, and the Institute of International Education, and Hardware/Software with IBM, IcueTV, and Siemens. He currently sits on the Palo Alto Networks Customer Advisory Board in addition to the Ithaca College Cybersecurity Advisory Board in NYC. George has built or expanded cybersecurity programs that keep abreast of the changing Cyber landscape, always with the mindset of operating strong security controls with automation capabilities in corporate as well as packaged and hosted environments running virtual, container or serverless workloads. George’s main interests currently are in Cybersecurity AI and Enterprise Cloud Transformation space.
