Daniel Wood is the Associate Vice President of Consulting at Bishop Fox, the largest offensive security focused private firm. Previously, Daniel was the Manager of Security Engineering and Technology at Bridgewater Associates. In his role, he oversees the Controls Assurance program; comprising of GRC Support Engineering, Security Metrics, and Enterprise Security Testing and Controls Validation programs.
Prior to joining Bridgewater, Daniel served in various roles supporting the United States Government in Security Architecture, Engineering, and Offensive Operations as a Security Engineer and Red Team Leader. Additionally, Daniel has supported the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) on red teaming and digital warfare operations, and the U.S. Army TRADOC on the Wargaming Cyber Effects on Soldier's Decision-Making Project and the United States Marine Corps Cyber Auxiliary program. Daniel has a Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice, with a concentration in Counterterrorism from George Mason University; is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and holds various industry certifications. |
